Glenda Smith (Sister):
I remember that day, clear as crystal, Jimmy, would you put that ball down for a moment before you break a window? Oh right.. where was I? uh. Yeah, Fred and Karen both had a smile, and were joking about the dent that my son Jimmy put in their driver's door the night before with his baseball. He told us not to worry and that he would fix it when he got back to Lenoresfield.
Jimmy Smith (Nephew):
Oh yeah! My uncle! He wasn't real mad when I hit his car with my ball! Have you seen it? It's really old, I think it was my grandpa's. oh! Right... you don't want to hear about my ball. My uncle. That's what you want. He showed me his CB radio. It was really cool! He said that it could reach out to three miles and so we spent an hour after dinner talking with the truckers that stopped at the gas station on the radio.
George Hepburn (Factory Foreman):
Well, he was supposed to come back a few days ago, but I figured he went on a detour, so I gave him three extra days. He didn't call though, which was not like him at all. The police told me that I should wait a couple of days just to make sure, so I did, and I even called his cell phone, but all I got was dead silence. I didn't even get a voice mail. Funny, isn't it?
